Boston, MA – Ogonna Chukwudaalu Ofoma Arrested for Indecent Assault and Batteries
Boston, MA (April 19, 2022) – A man from the Allentown, Pennsylvania area was taken into custody on Friday evening, April 8, in connection to an indecent assault and batteries incident that occurred on Tuesday, April 5.
According to reports from the Boston Police Department, on Tuesday, just after 8 p.m., a female was walking in the area of Commonwealth Avenue and Spofford Road when she was assaulted by a male. The man then ran from the scene.
On Thursday, April 7, authorities were informed that a second female was walking in the area of Glenville Avenue when she was assaulted by a man matching the description of the man provided by the first woman. The man then fled the scene toward Harvard Avenue.
Authorities were dispatched at around 5:37 p.m. on Friday to the area of 76 Quint Avenue in Brighton after being informed that a man matching the description of the suspect was in the area.
Responding officers, along with the department’s sexual assault unit, were able to positively identify the man at the location as the suspect of the assaults.
The suspect, 29-year-old Ogonna Chukwudaalu Ofoma, was taken into custody by the Boston Police.
At this time, investigations are ongoing.
